how do I manually upload my distances?

July 03, 2026

During the Broken Hill to Sydney Team Chase you walk, jog or run in your local area and upload your distances to our event platform. The upload can be done manually or automatically from your GPS watch or phone app.

The following instructions are for doing manual uploads. Read about auto-syncing here.

Sometimes the tech can get tricky, so if you have any issues at all please don't hesitate to contact us and we will gladly assist.

ACCEPTABLE MANUAL TRACKING METHOD

Any activity where you are walking, jogging or running (or equivalent for wheelchair users) can be included but you will need some method of confirming the distance covered. Some recommended methods:

  • Measure a route in your car/bike odometer
  • Map a route on Google or other mapping app
  • Use the local athletic track or playing field
  • Use distance markers around your town
  • Use your local parkrun route
