Chase It Forward Fund

This year, for the first time ever, the Broken Hill to Sydney Team Chase is giving teams an even bigger opportunity to make a difference through the Chase It Forward Fund.

Win funding for your community

We’ve set aside a $5,500 community donation pool that participating teams can win and direct towards organisations creating change where they live.

This isn’t about taking home a prize for yourself.

It’s about helping communities become safer, stronger and free from domestic and family violence.

Every kilometre you complete already helps spark conversations and drive change. Now, your team also has the chance to invest directly in the people and programs making a difference in your own community.

Creating change where it matters

The Chase It Forward Fund gives teams the opportunity to support organisations working to prevent domestic and family violence and strengthen local communities.

Whether that’s a local initiative close to your heart, an organisation making a difference where you live, or a program helping create safer and more respectful relationships, your team can help direct support where it matters most to you.

How it works

There are eight opportunities to Chase It Forward across the event.

Community Impact Draws

The more teammates you have registered, the better your chances.

There are three Community Impact Draws during the campaign:

Each eligible team member counts as an entry into the draw, so building your team can increase your chances of winning.

Line Honours

Speed counts too.

The first teams across the finish line in each of these categories will direct a donation to an approved organisation of their choice:

  • First Team of 10 across the finish line – $750
  • First Team of 20 across the finish line – $750

Fundraising Awards

Raise funds, create impact and climb the leaderboard.

The top fundraising teams at the end of the event will direct:

  • First place: $1,200
  • Second place: $800
  • Third place: $500
