Can people join my team after I’ve registered?

Yes, your team stays open for new members after you’ve registered.

Once your team is created, you can continue inviting people right up until the cut-off date of 6 September. New members simply join your team during their own registration by searching for your Team Name and entering your Team Code.

If you’re still building your team, you can nominate to use the Team Finder tool on our website during registration to help connect with people who are looking for a team to join.

This makes it easy to grow your team over time. Many Team Captains start with a small group and gradually add more people as friends, colleagues or community members hear about the event and get involved.

There’s no need to finalise your team upfront, you can build it as you go.
