Kate Bricknell

Introducing Kate BricknellDr Kate Bricknell is an Education Consultant from Tamworth in Northern New South Wales. She has had 30 years experience as a classroom teacher, school executive and as a Project Officer with the Department of Education. In 2016 Dr Bricknell established her own business: Crossroads Education. 

Kate has been heavily involved in White Ribbon Projects in schools since 2009. She has worked with young people to raise awareness and funds as well as community engagement discussing the impact of Domestic Violence upon young people and their community. In 2016 Kate received a nomination for Australian of the Year for her work in this area.

Having grown up in Tamworth and then taught within that community, Kate is committed to ensuring that cycles of DV and intimate partner violence are broken whilst supporting the children of the community to be safe, secure and confident in their future
