Round 3 Love Bites Grants
In 2023, over $91,000 was raised through direct donations from the 2022 RAV Virtual Team Challenge participants and support from the Run Against Violence Committee.
The grants focused on two priorities: funding Love Bites facilitator training where costs are a barrier, and supporting adaptations of Love Bites for specific community needs.
Grant recipients represented a wide range of schools and community services, including teachers, youth workers, police, health workers, women’s shelters, social workers, counsellors, and community engagement staff.
Communities across the country received funding, with high-priority applicants receiving full funding and others receiving partial support to expand the program’s reach.
