Run Against Violence allocated $165,000 to the second round of Love Bites Grants. The program continued to focus on two key priorities: funding facilitator training in communities where cost is a barrier and supporting the adaptation of Love Bites to meet specific community needs.
Applications came from Queensland, NSW, Northern Territory, and Western Australia, covering metropolitan, regional, rural, and remote communities.
Following the review process, funds were awarded to Major Projects and Individual Recipients,
supporting community-based teachers and workers to complete Love Bites Senior and Love Bites Junior facilitator training.
Donations received and funds raised were invested directly into training and expanding Love Bites across Australia.
The number of facilitators trained to deliver respectful relationships education in schools and local communities.
Love Bites has reached local government areas across the country, helping break the cycle of family and domestic violence.
