Run Against Violence allocated $35,000 to the first round of Love Bites Grants to help expand respectful relationships education across Australia. With over $100,000 in applications received, grants were prioritised based on five key criteria:
Funding was distributed across two categories, Major Projects and Individual Recipients, supporting both community-wide initiatives and individual facilitators. Applications came from communities in Queensland, NSW, Northern Territory, and Western Australia, reaching metropolitan, regional, rural and remote areas.
Donations received and funds raised were invested directly into training and expanding Love Bites across Australia.
The number of facilitators trained to deliver respectful relationships education in schools and local communities.
Love Bites has reached local government areas across the country, helping break the cycle of family and domestic violence.
